The Petco Foundation has chosen KRI to partner with Petco's Germantown, MD store to run the Foundation's new Pet Food Bank Program. This program is for economically stressed pet parents in the surrounding area. Its aim is to prevent pet abandonment by supporting financially-strapped pet parents. The store has set up a food bank bin that serves as a collection point for customers to drop off donated pet food, supplies or cat litter. This important program provides pet-related support for people who face financial difficulties or unforeseen situations such as job loss, illness or loss of the family’s key provider.  On designated days, pet food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. To speed up the process, please fill out the Ani-Meals Application in advance and bring it with you when you come.
